Beef Australia 2018 (known affectionally as ‘Beef’) held triennially in Rockhampton concluded on 12 May.  The facts and figures are out and in summary –

100,368 visitors through the gates

1200 registered international delegates from more than 43 countries

12 internationally renowned chefs

3 cattle competitions involving almost 5001 cattle, with over 1622 Stud cattle from 32 breeds and 2004 commercial cattle and 1035 Carcase entries

3740 school children from more than 85 schools

11 property tours in the Central Queensland location hosted over 811 visitors

530 trade fair exhibitors

An amazing event with an event or program to satisfy all needs.   Returning in 2018 was a dedicated program of seminars planned throughout the week, presented by some of the best minds in the industry, both national and international. The seminars program included speakers who challenged industry members to extend their knowledge and productivity.
